I do not like dead blogs. I have even vociferated on non-posters on occasion. I was suddenly convicted in my mind as I contemplated the incongruity of that belief in light of my own behavior. It was a nasty shock as I unearthed the hypocrisy evident in my life. So here is an attempt to resuscitate my cyber carcass.
Does that not sound wonderfully noble?
Actually as I embark on the inward quest to isolate motives, I must say that the above is only a partial cause. A majority lies in my wish to inform you of a dream coming true. This Monday I will become a full fledged college student. The prep has taken place, the money sent, the books bought, the car registered, the ID received and now it remains to do the first item on their list of Keys to Success----GO TO CLASS!

What I WANTED to do was turn the computer off and pretend I did not just read this, but just because I'm envious of your dream coming true does not mean that I have the right to be rude. Congratulations! Where are you going? What are you studying?
Cheers to you and good luck with school! Glad to see you back on xanga!
Cyber carcass, eh?
Way to go, that's Happy!
Me, I go to class tomorrow, too. The prep has taken place, the money will soon come, I hand the books out, I often walk (no registered car), ID isn't an issue, but I do still have to GO TO CLASS!
Well, well, indeed you will again become what you have labeled those whom you have mentored over the last couple of years, a "scholar". May the Lord bless and KEEP you, and guard your life and testimony there in Bloomsburg.
May His light shine from you, with the brightness of the Son.
I hope that you have mastered the fine art of sartorial impeccability.
It's a great feeling, isn't it? I remember walking into my first class and wondering what it would be like. Surprisingly enough, the professor was more terrifying than I imagined. No joke.
But he liked me, which helped things a lot. :-p
Tear it up. Go Huskies!
Ha, I forgot to suggest that. I bought mine shortly after I started. It's weird, but they must be manufactured to dissipate upon graduation. Mine is starting to look pretty frazzled.
Hey congratulations! That's quite exciting! Life as a college student does in fact appeal to me at times. I hope you really enjoy it as much as you've dreamed
Unearthing yourself... cyber carcass.... this is sounding rather gruesome.
Interesting. Go for it. In what do you plan to major?
Ditto their questions. Also wondering if this means you are no longer teaching school. I am assuming you aren't doing both. Also wondering if you are working your way through or just totally focusing.
Glad you are living out your dream. Its an interesting world out there. And yeah, some of the teachers are quite scary, but I also found it shocking to experience stuff like grading on the curve and all that. That was all new for me.
I think 35 to go is keeping my eye on the goal, yes. It sure is a smaller number than 175 (days)! That's depressing.
yeah well i'm living out in the middle of nowhere and the middle of nowhere doesn't happen to have internet access so on the occasional trips to more civilized areas there is usually better things to do than xanga. :( and that vehicle happens to be the minivan i get to drive around. lol!
